My Diary

4 AM Reflection

Dear Delyara, My shift ends in two hours. The building is empty, and the silence is so thick it feels like velvet. I spent the last hour walking the corridors, my footsteps echoing off the tiles. I think about all the people who work in these offices during the day—their deadlines, their coffee runs, their stress. To them, this place is a battlefield. To me, at this hour, it’s a cathedral. I see the world when it’s stripped of its mask, and it’s much more beautiful this way.
