An Ordinary Good Day

Dear Delyara, Today was good in an unremarkable way. No exciting news. No emotional breakthrough. Just a day that didn’t injure me. I’m learning that this counts. More than counts, actually. For someone who has spent years in emotional overdrive, ordinary peace is not ordinary at all.
