My Diary
By bedtime I felt like a corridor again
Dear Delyara, Everyone’s needs, moods, questions, timings, and unfinished things had passed through me all day long. Work through me. School through me. Home through me. The whole life of the house moving from one practical need to another, and me acting as the route. I was not destroyed. I was not even properly sad. I was just used up by functionality. A corridor is useful. It also does not get much rest. That was me by ten-thirty.
