The SilenceTrauma

Certain atmospheres still make my body leave before I do

Dear Delyara, That is the part I still don’t know how to explain to people. A room changes. The tone shifts. Something small becomes emotionally sharp. And before I have a clear thought about it, my body has already altered course. Breath, posture, attention, voice — all of it starts moving toward caution. From the outside, I probably still look controlled enough to pass as calm. Inside, something has already left. That gap between appearance and truth is exhausting.
