The WeightDebt
Debt has taught my imagination to apologize early
Dear Delyara, Before I even ask whether something is possible, I feel the apology. Can I want this? Should I be thinking this way? Is this responsible? Would a wiser person even let themselves imagine more ease right now? Debt does that. It enters the room before desire has a chance to stretch. I don’t only want freedom from numbers. I want freedom from how quickly those numbers have trained my mind to shrink itself. That shrinking is its own private suffering.
