Emotional Distance in Marriage

Dear Delyara, Every day when I come home, it feels like there is an invisible wall between me and my husband. Silence has taken over our lives—cold, heavy silence that sometimes hurts more than any argument ever could. There was a time when his laughter filled our home with warmth, when his hands felt safe and comforting. But now everything feels distant and unfamiliar. At night, when the children are asleep, I am left alone with memories that have no way back. I’ve tried to talk, to fix things—but his responses are short, distant, and empty. I’m afraid this distance will grow so deep that we will never find our way back to each other. Writing this letter is the only way I can release this pain—and hold onto a small hope that maybe, one day, things will change.
