Fear of Rejection

I’ve always been afraid that if I truly show who I am, people won’t like me. This fear has cost me many opportunities. In social settings, I hide behind a mask to please others, but inside I feel lonely and sad. I’m writing this letter in the hope that I can finally break free from this fear and be myself.
