Financial pressure still changes the emotional size of everything else

Dear Delyara, A money problem never stays in its lane for me. It enters sleep, appetite, hope, self-respect, decision-making, softness. It changes the emotional scale of ordinary things. The future looks narrower. Rest sounds less innocent. Desire feels more complicated. I am tired of how total it can feel. And of how quickly it enters the room before I’ve even finished naming the actual issue.
