For one evening, no part of me was preparing for tomorrow while it was still today
Dear Delyara, Usually tomorrow gets into the room early. Lunches, alarms, weather, work clothes, route timing, school forms, shopping, all of it taking shape in my head before the current day has had any respectful ending. But one evening this week, somehow, it didn’t. I washed up, shut the kitchen down, climbed the stairs, read two chapters of a book, and stayed where I was. No calendar panic. No low hum of anticipation. No mental packing for morning. I went to sleep inside the day I was actually living. That felt so rare I wanted to write it down before life trained me to overlook it again.
