For one evening, nothing in me felt hunted by tomorrow

Dear Delyara, That is the best way I can say it. Usually tomorrow starts early in me — lists, timing, clothes, lunchboxes, work concerns, health concerns, money concerns, all of it gathering itself around the edges of the night before the current evening has even properly closed. Yesterday it didn’t. I ate dinner, closed the kitchen, went upstairs, and spent an hour in a kind of internal quiet I have missed without fully naming. Not joy. Not numbness. Just the absence of pursuit. I wish I could bottle that feeling. Since I can’t, I’m writing it here instead.
