He made breakfast for the children and let me stay upstairs longer
Dear Delyara, It was such a simple thing, but it changed the emotional tone of the whole morning. Usually I am the first one down, the first one answering questions, the first one locating uniforms and pouring cereal and managing time. Yesterday he did all of it without needing instructions. I could hear the ordinary family noise from upstairs and, for once, none of it required me. That felt like love in a very practical language. The kind I trust most now.
