I acted while still unsure and still soft

Dear Delyara, I used to think courage had to look harder than this. But this week, courage looked like being unsure, a little exposed, not entirely ready, and still moving. Not with force. Not by becoming cold or detached. Just by letting myself remain human while doing the thing anyway. I like this version better. It feels more sustainable. I don’t want to build my life around waiting for a tougher self. I want to move with the one I have. This week, I did.
