I admitted that the fatigue was affecting my parenting

Dear Delyara, It is one thing to admit you are tired. It is another to admit the tiredness is shaping the kind of mother you are by evening. Less patient. Less playful. More easily touched by noise. More likely to rush tenderness because your own system is overfull. This week, in a proper conversation about my health, I said that part too. Not for guilt. For truth. I think care gets much better once we stop pretending the body exists separately from the relationships lived inside it. My tiredness was not only physical. It was atmospheric. It changed the home through me. Naming that felt painful and honest and useful all at once.
