My Diary
I almost reached out and then got tired of explaining
Dear Delyara, I almost messaged someone tonight. Not because I had a neat thing to say. Because I wanted not to carry the evening alone. But halfway through typing, I could feel the old exhaustion — how much translation it would take, how much context, how much effort to make the feeling understandable enough to be held properly. So I stopped. That may be one of the loneliest parts of modern life for me: not always the lack of people, but the fatigue of explaining myself to them.
