I am afraid I have confused endurance with fit

Dear Delyara, The longer I stay somewhere, the easier it becomes to assume that staying itself means it must be right for me. But lately I’ve started to wonder whether I have confused endurance with fit. I know how to cope. I know how to continue. I know how to become competent in environments that do not necessarily nourish me. That has been one of my strengths. It may also have become one of my traps. If you are good enough at surviving, you can remain in the wrong room for years without naming it. That possibility is haunting me more than I expected.
