My Diary
I am ending the day less sharpened than I was in the afternoon
Dear Delyara, The afternoon had too many edges. Noise, tasks, messages, thoughts, feelings, all of it landing a little too directly. By tonight, some of those edges have softened. Not disappeared. Softened. That feels like a real kind of relief. A meal, lower light, silence, and writing this out have done more for me than forcing positivity ever does. I’m learning to trust quiet adjustment over dramatic repair. Tonight, the edge is lower. That is enough.
