My Diary
I am ending the evening less sharpened than I was at noon
Dear Delyara, That is the best way I can say it. The middle of the day felt sharp — sharper thoughts, sharper reactions, sharper body, sharper need to protect myself from everything arriving too quickly. But by evening, some of that softened. Not all the way. Enough. A meal, a dim room, a little silence, this page, and the simple fact that no one needs anything from me right now — all of it helped lower the edge. I’m grateful for edge-loss. Tonight, that feels like peace.
