I am less ruled by urgency now

Dear Delyara, This may be one of the clearest signs of change in me: I am less ruled by urgency. Not in practical emergencies, but emotionally. I don’t chase every feeling the moment it arrives. I don’t treat every silence as a crisis. I don’t need to answer every internal question immediately. I don’t let every discomfort turn into an emergency meeting with my entire nervous system. That doesn’t mean I’m peaceful all the time. It just means urgency no longer owns me quite as fully. That has brought more relief than I expected.
