I am less ruled by what used to ruin whole days

Dear Delyara, That is such a meaningful sentence for me now. The same kind of trigger may still appear. The same old ache may still pass through. But it does not own the day in the same way. It doesn’t spread as easily. It doesn’t immediately become atmosphere. That is healing. Not absence. Less rule. And the reduction of that rule has changed my life in ways no dramatic milestone ever could.
