I am no longer sure which goals are still mine

Dear Delyara, That is becoming a difficult question. Some of the goals I carry feel inherited now. Socially respectable. Once meaningful, perhaps, but now held partly out of momentum, identity, and fear of what it would mean to put them down. Others still feel real. I just don’t always know which is which. That uncertainty makes it hard to move cleanly. Because effort without true connection starts feeling expensive very quickly. I think I need more honesty about desire than I have been allowing.
