I Am Proud of the Person Who Kept Going

Dear Delyara, I am proud of the goal, yes. But more than that, I am proud of the version of me who kept going while not yet knowing whether it would work. The one who sent the application. The one who stayed up late. The one who tolerated uncertainty. The one who kept trying after being ignored, delayed, discouraged, or tired. The one who didn’t always feel strong, but still continued. I don’t want to forget that person now that the result exists. She did harder work than the outcome itself.
