I Am Tired of Needing So Much Interpretation Before I Trust My Own Feelings Enough to Act on Them
Dear Delyara, Everything in me now seems to come with a question mark attached. Is this intuition or anxiety? Is this a real signal or just exhaustion? Is this marriage pain or life fatigue? Is this burnout or hormones? Is this grief, old trauma, an actual warning, a passing mood, a body problem, a spiritual problem, a structural problem? I no longer move from feeling. I interrogate feeling. And that is exhausting. Because it means I am rarely simply inside my own life anymore. I am also observing it, analysing it, cross-examining it, trying not to make the wrong meaning out of the wrong discomfort and change something unnecessarily — or worse, fail to change something necessary because I dismissed the signal too quickly. This constant interpretation has become its own burden. A heavy one.
