The WeightFinance
I am tired of ordinary joy sounding financially irresponsible in my own head
Dear Delyara, A coffee out. A better loaf of bread. A taxi instead of the bus when I’m exhausted. Flowers. A proper birthday gift. A decent haircut. Small, human things. Under pressure, all of them start sounding suspect to me. Not because they are objectively outrageous, but because money stress has trained me to examine every comfort as if comfort itself might be evidence of weakness or foolishness. It steals innocence from small pleasures. It makes ordinary desire feel like something I must defend. I hate living like that. I don’t want to be reckless. I just want a life where one good loaf of bread does not have to pass through a moral tribunal before it reaches my basket.
