I am tired of the emotional architecture required to protect one truth

Dear Delyara, It isn’t just the truth itself anymore. It’s the system around it. The way I answer. The things I leave out. The way I redirect without sounding like I’m redirecting. The route my mind takes through certain conversations before I’ve even consciously thought about why. I think secrecy reshapes the whole house, not just one room. That’s what people miss. And I’m tired of living in a house designed around one locked door.
