I answered the message instead of imagining it for six hours

Dear Delyara, One message with the wrong tone, or no context, or one line that could mean several things, and I would leave it there while my mind turned it into a whole emotional problem. This time I noticed the pattern starting and interrupted it early. I opened it. Read it. Answered it. It was ordinary. Most things are, once fear stops decorating them. I’m trying to trust that more now. Reality before imagination. Action before private spiralling. It doesn’t always come naturally, but it felt good when I managed it.
