I Apologize in My Head All Day

Dear Delyara, I think I spend more time apologizing internally than most people realize. For needing things. For feeling tired. For not replying fast enough. For disappointing people. For wanting to be alone. For changing my mind. For not being more grateful. For not being stronger. It’s exhausting. Sometimes I wonder what my personality would feel like if guilt were not stitched into so much of it.
