I asked for help instead of drowning quietly

Dear Delyara, My natural style is to keep going, take more on, tell myself I can still manage, and then quietly resent everyone around me for not noticing that I am sinking under things I never clearly said were too much. This week I felt that pattern starting and interrupted it. I asked for help. Not dramatically. Not with a speech. Just honestly and early enough that the work could still be shared before it turned into bitterness. That felt healthier than coping. And much more adult than silent martyrdom.
