My Diary

I ate biscuits over the sink and called it lunch

Dear Delyara, Not because I thought it was a good idea. Because by then I had no emotional energy left to sit down properly and claim a meal like I mattered inside my own day. That’s the part that made me sad. The posture of it. The apology built into it. I don’t abandon myself dramatically. I do it in these efficient little ways that look harmless and add up.
