I booked the appointment before I backed out
Dear Delyara, Usually I postpone these things by layering perfectly reasonable excuses over the top of fear. It’s not the right week. The children need me. Work is busy. Maybe it will settle by itself. It’s probably nothing. It’s too expensive. It’s too inconvenient. I’ll do it later. This time I recognised the pattern while it was happening and booked the appointment anyway. Fear was still there. I moved with it still there. That matters to me more than confidence. Confidence comes and goes. Action while afraid is what changes my life.
