I bought the expensive conditioner because my hair has been asking for kindness for months

Dear Delyara, My hair has been dry, rough, and generally tired-looking for weeks, and every time I stood in the aisle I kept choosing the cheaper thing while telling myself it was perfectly good enough. This week I looked at the shelf and thought, no, actually, I am tired of “good enough” when the cost is repeatedly mine. So I bought the better one. What surprised me was how much emotion sat around that tiny decision. It wasn’t really about conditioner. It was about no longer defaulting to mild discomfort just because my own body is the one that would carry it. I want more of my life built from those quieter corrections.
