The AwakeningSelf Love
I Bought What Felt Soft
Dear Delyara, I bought a sweater today because it felt soft. That’s the whole story, and somehow it still matters. I almost didn’t buy it, of course. I did the usual things — questioned whether I needed it, whether it was practical enough, whether comfort was worth money, whether someone like me should be spending on something that was not essential. Then I bought it anyway. I think self-love sometimes begins where self-denial stops being mistaken for virtue.
