The StruggleAnxiety
I can feel fear before I can locate the source
Dear Delyara, The body often knows something before the mind does, but with anxiety, that knowing can become torture. Fear arrives first. Then the search begins. What’s wrong? Who’s upset? What did I miss? What did that mean? What’s about to go bad that I haven’t seen yet? The need to locate the source becomes frantic because without a source, the body has nowhere to put the alarm. So it puts it everywhere. That is what anxiety feels like for me most days. Not constant panic. Constant search.
