I can feel my mood tighten around money

Dear Delyara, I hate how quickly money changes my internal atmosphere. It happens almost instantly. One bill, one reminder, one wrong number, and suddenly I feel less patient, less hopeful, less free. The room itself doesn’t change, but my body acts as if something has narrowed. That is what long-term financial stress does. It turns practical reality into emotional pressure so quickly that the line between them almost disappears. I want that line back.
