The UnknownConfusion

I can feel that something is wrong without knowing its name

Dear Delyara, This is one of my least favorite internal states. I know I’m off. I know I’m carrying something. I know I need something. What I do not know is exactly what. The feelings are mixed, blurred, layered in a way that makes care difficult. If I knew whether it was sadness, burnout, disappointment, loneliness, fear, or some old grief waking up in a new shape, maybe I could respond with more intelligence. But when everything is mixed, I become uncertain not only about life but about my own interior. That uncertainty is exhausting in its own right.
