The BondFriendship

I can feel the friendship thinning and I hate that I still want to save it

Dear Delyara, Part of me already knows. That is the most painful part. The replies are slower. The warmth is more intermittent. The effort is uneven enough now that I can no longer pretend not to notice. And still, there is another part of me looking for ways to interpret it kindly, to wait, to forgive, to assume she’s busy, tired, distracted, going through something, anything but no longer really here. I think grief starts before endings are official. It starts in these little private arguments between clarity and hope. That’s where I am now. And it is exhausting.
