I can lose a whole day to what might happen

Dear Delyara, A delayed result, an unanswered message, a health worry, a future bill, a conversation I’m avoiding — any of these can colonise the whole day if I let them. I still cook, drive, answer, clean, work, but underneath all of it something is already leaning toward a future version of pain. It’s exhausting because technically nothing has happened yet. And still the body has already paid. I know that’s anxiety. Calling it anxiety does not stop it from stealing Tuesday.
