The PlotGoals

I Can Name My Goals but I Can’t Feel Them Clearly

Dear Delyara, If someone asked me what my goals are, I could answer. That’s the strange part. I can still name them. Still describe them. Still talk about the practical path toward them. But something emotional has changed. They no longer feel alive in me the same way. They feel distant, as if I am intellectually committed to a future my spirit has not fully agreed to yet. Maybe this is what fatigue does. Maybe this is what misalignment feels like. Maybe this is what growing older inside unresolved disappointment can do. I don’t know. I just know the connection feels weaker than it used to.
