The PlotGoals

I can name the goal without feeling it in my chest anymore

Dear Delyara, That’s what has been unsettling me. The goal is still there on paper. Still reasonable. Still relevant, maybe. But the emotional charge has weakened. I can talk about it. I can explain it. I can even make plans around it. But I no longer feel that clean internal pull I used to. I don’t know whether that means I’ve changed, or whether disappointment has dulled the connection, or whether I am simply tired of wanting things that take too long to become real. All I know is that the distance feels real.
