The UnknownConfusion

I Can’t Read Myself Clearly

Dear Delyara, Every strong feeling becomes a question mark. Am I really unhappy? Or just tired? Is this intuition? Or anxiety? Do I need change? Or rest? Is this a marriage problem, a money problem, a body problem, a burnout problem, an old wound, a new truth? I don’t know. That uncertainty means I don’t fully trust my own first reactions anymore. I cross-examine everything. By the time I have finished doubting myself properly, the original feeling is buried under interpretation anyway. That is an exhausting way to live. To need a second opinion from your own mind every time your heart says something important.
