The UnknownUncertainty

I can’t settle while things are undefined Dear Delyara,

Dear Delyara, Some people seem able to live in uncertainty without letting it rearrange their whole nervous system. I am not one of those people. When things are undefined, my body acts like danger is unfinished but active. My mind keeps circling, predicting, preparing, rehearsing possible futures I do not want and cannot yet rule out. It is exhausting to be pulled by things that haven’t happened. Maybe the unknown teaches some people faith. At the moment, it mostly teaches me vigilance.
