The SilenceSecrets

I can tell half-truths so well now they almost feel like a personality trait

Dear Delyara, That is what scares me. Not dramatic lies. Just highly functional omissions. Enough detail to appear open, enough editing to remain safe, enough feeling to keep the conversation alive, enough distance to avoid actual exposure. It has become smooth, polished, nearly elegant. That smoothness makes it harder to challenge. If concealment were awkward, maybe I would confront it more often. But it isn’t. It works. It keeps rooms comfortable. It protects me from being fully known in places where full knowing might not be kind. And still, it costs something every single time.
