I can turn one unanswered email into a full emotional climate

Dear Delyara, It doesn’t even have to be important. That’s the ridiculous thing. One email unanswered for too long and suddenly I’ve built four possible explanations, three possible future problems, and an entire mood around something that may simply be sitting in someone else’s inbox under fifteen other tasks. But my nervous system doesn’t wait for evidence. It fills the gap with weather. That is how uncertainty functions in me. Not as blank space. As emotional overproduction. And by the time reality finally appears, I’m already tired from everything I privately manufactured around the delay.
