I changed the appointment to a better time instead of forcing myself into the harder one

Dear Delyara, Old me would have kept the awkward slot and then built a whole stressful day around proving I could cope with it. This week I looked at the booking, realised it would make the day far harder than it needed to be, and changed it. That sounds tiny. It wasn’t. Because part of self-love for me now is not heroic endurance. It is reducing unnecessary friction before I am already trapped inside it. Choosing the calmer route. Choosing the kinder timing. Choosing not to let pride dress itself up as resilience. The whole day went better because of that one small decision. I am trying to take that seriously.
