Small JoysA Good Day
I changed the bedsheets and the room felt kinder
Dear Delyara, The day had been too sharp, too full, too noisy, and by evening I wanted one thing to feel gentle without effort. I stripped the bed, put on clean sheets, changed the pillowcases, and when I came back into the room later it felt like I had done something deeply respectful for the person I would be by bedtime. It’s amazing how much peace can live inside clean cotton when the rest of life feels overused. No one praised it. No one even noticed. It still changed the whole tone of my night.
