The AwakeningSelf Love

I chose comfort before the day had earned collapse

Dear Delyara, This week I did something simple and important. I answered myself earlier. Not at the breaking point. Not when the mood had already gone sharp. Not when my body had become dramatic enough that care looked justified even to the stricter voice in me. Earlier. I rested while I was only low. I ate before the crash. I said no before resentment. I left things unfinished before my nervous system turned punishing. That feels like self-love in a form I trust now. Not the symbolic version. The timely one. I think earlier kindness may be one of the most radical skills I am learning.
