My Diary
I cleaned the table and felt less helpless
Dear Delyara, The table had become a surface where the whole week was collecting itself — receipts, mugs, notes, chargers, loose things, all of it. Tonight I cleared it and felt strangely emotional about the empty wood underneath. I think because order still feels like possibility to me. Not perfect control, not a new life, not some false fantasy that if the room is clean then everything is healed. Just proof that mess can still be responded to. That attention still changes things. That care still has visible effects somewhere. Some days I don’t need a breakthrough. I need one area of life to look touched by effort.
