I could feel the care without needing it to come in my preferred form

Dear Delyara, The form still wasn’t perfect. The language still wasn’t the language I would have chosen. And still, I could feel the care clearly enough that I didn’t lose it inside the awkwardness. That doesn’t cancel old hurt. It just means old hurt no longer takes the whole room every time. I’m grateful for that room widening.
