I did not abandon my own judgment in the room
Dear Delyara, That felt important this week. I had a thought and stayed with it. I didn’t immediately check the room for approval, soften it too fast, or assume that someone else’s certainty mattered more than mine. I let my own mind remain intact long enough to stand behind what I thought. It may have looked ordinary from the outside. Inside, it felt like growth. I think some of the best professional shifts are invisible. They happen in the relationship to oneself before anyone else even notices a difference.
