I did not let the unfinished thing ruin the whole evening

Dear Delyara, There is something unresolved in my life right now. It is still there tonight. And still, I had access to some peace. That feels significant. In the past, unfinished things took over the whole emotional room. I would chase, analyze, predict, rehearse, and practically hand the evening over to uncertainty because I didn’t know how not to. Tonight I didn’t do that. I let the unresolved thing remain unfinished. And I remained larger than it. That is peace in a form I deeply respect.
