My Diary
I did not want to hear another opinion
Dear Delyara, By the end of today I felt completely full of other people’s voices. Suggestions, reactions, updates, opinions, commentary, all of it. Even helpful things started to feel intrusive by the evening. I didn’t want one more perspective, one more idea, one more “you should.” What I wanted was silence. Not because I’m angry at anyone. Because I needed space to hear my own mind again. I think one of the most exhausting parts of modern life is how easy it is for your interior to become crowded by too much access. There are so many ways for other people to enter your day now, and not many built-in ways to keep your own inner room clear. Tonight I needed my own room back.
